Here's a recipe for a delicious fish taco:

Ingredients: For the fish:

  • 1. 1 lb. firm white fish fillets (such as tilapia or cod)
  • 2. 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 3. 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 4. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 5. 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 6. Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 7. 2 tablespoons olive oil

For the slaw:

  • 1. 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 3. 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 4. 1 tablespoon honey
  • 5. 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 6. Salt and pepper, to taste

For serving:

  • 1. 8-10 small flour or corn tortillas
  • 2. Sliced avocado
  • 3. Salsa or hot sauce (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. In a small bowl, mix together the chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

  3. Place the fish fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  4. Brush the fillets with olive oil, then sprinkle the spice mixture over them, making sure they are evenly coated.

  5. Heat for 12-15 minutes, or until the angle is cooked through and drops effortlessly with a fork.

  6. While the fish is baking, make the slaw. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, cilantro, lime juice, honey, olive oil, salt, and pepper. Hurl until well combined.

  7. To assemble the tacos, warm the tortillas in a skillet or microwave.

  8. Place a spoonful of the slaw on each tortilla, then top with a piece of fish and a few slices of avocado.

  9. Drizzle with salsa or hot sauce, if desired.

  10. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious fish tacos! Note: You can also grill the fish instead of baking it if you prefer. Just brush the fish with olive oil and grill it over medium-high heat for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
